Grand Prix Scoring:

  • The first 50 competitors in each age category will score points towards the age category championship; 50 for 1st, 49 for 2nd, 48 for 3rd, 47 for 4th, ...., 1 for 50th.
  • Points are allocated according to the positions (not times) in the final race results.
  • Under U.K.A. rules there cannot be a tie in a fell race; the finish line marshal is a judge of fact and their decision is final.
  • Up to the best 5 scores from the 10 selected races will count towards the final positions.
  • In the event of a tie, the competitor with the highest total points for all 10 races will win.
  • A minimum of 5 completed races are required to qualify for an award.
  • Note that FRA distance restrictions will apply at some races to runners aged under 18.
  • The top 3 female and male runners based on their category score at each race will score for their respective ladies' and men's club team.
  • All 10 races will count for the club championship.
