Rules
Eligibility:
The Area Fell Race Grand Prix is open to members of the following clubs:
Categories:
Ages are as on 19th February 2012, that is you stay in the same age category for the entire series.
There are twenty possible categories.
- Junior (U23) Ladies and Men
- Senior Ladies and Men
- Over 40 Ladies and Men
- Over 45 Ladies and Men
- Over 50 Ladies and Men
- Over 55 Ladies and Men
- Over 60 Ladies and Men
- Over 65 Ladies and Men
- Over 70 Ladies and Men
- Over 75 Ladies and Men
Grand Prix Scoring:
- A competitor may only run in their permitted age category.
- The first 50 competitors in each age category will score points towards the age category championship; 50 for 1st, 49 for 2nd, 48 for 3rd, 47 for 4th, ...., 1 for 50th.
- Points are allocated according to the positions (not times) in the final race results.
- If there is a tie on position in a race then both runners will be allocated the same points for the relevant position e.g. 4th= receives 47 points.
- Up to the best 5 scores from the 11 selected races will count towards the final positions.
- In the event of a tie, the competitor with the highest total points for all 11 races will win.
- Note that FRA distance restrictions will apply at some races to runners aged under 18.

Points Tables
The 2012 tables will be updated following publication of results by each race organiser.
Please email with any scoring or age group queries.
Note: Age group is as on 19th February 2012.
Some races e.g. Midgley Moor, do not offer V45, V55 etc. categories.
Will runners in these categories please check their age group in the points tables, and notify me of any corrections.

Navigation
The results tables are interactive; you can sort and filter the records to be displayed.
To SORT records, click on an underlined column heading.
This will show the records in ascending sequence.
Click again will sort the records into descending sequence.
Click on X at the start of the sort row to undo.
Note that if you do not click on X, sorts are 'cumulative'.
The sort sequence is described on the sort row.
To FILTER records, click on the 'v' button.
Enter a value under a column.
Click on the '>' button.
Click on X at the start of the filter row to undo.
Click on the '^' button to remove the filter row.
The filter value is described on the filter row.
Sort example; Click on a race title twice (not double-click, wait
for page to be re-displayed between clicks) to sort the records
into the positions in that race.
Filter example; Your club name under Club will display only
competitors from your club.
